IT IS DARK for Royal AM Ladies who have not received a single point in the matches they have played in this 2026 season, of the Safa KwaZulu-Natal Sasol League.

AM Ladies, who were axed by Durban Ladies in the Hollywoodbets Super League last season, have lost all their matches. It has become food for the stick as in four games it has conceded 18 goals, not even one.

In its opening game of the 2026 season, of the KZN Sasol League on June 14, it was greeted with an 11-0 drubbing by the Revolution. After that, they were beaten 3-0 by Mshwathi Future Stars, followed by a 3-0 defeat by Sunflower WFC.

On Sunday, it received a blow for the fourth time in a row, being driven home by Diski Pros Academy 1-0, at the Royal Ranch Ground, Maqongqo.

Dropping points for AM Ladies has put them at the tail end of Stream A’s KZN Sasol League log which is sitting at the top of Newcastle Chess with 12 points from four games. Chess has won all four games. In second place is Sunflower with nine points.

Durban Ladies, who had started badly and were beaten in the first three games, seem to be starting to find their footing in this division as they have won two in a row.

It came back with other key points to beat Sapphire Ladies 5-2 at Cato Manor Grounds, Cato Manor, on Sunday.

According to this newspaper, Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize’s AM Ladies, coached by Siyanda Msani, is struggling because they are facing the problem of not registering players on time. This is because MaMkhize was in the process of putting it up for auction following it being axed by Hollywoodbets last season.

In Stream B, DUT Coastal has continued to show good form since the start of the season as they are the leading team with 15 points from five games. It came back with more points beating Lindelani Ladies 1-0 on Sunday, at DUT Gate Ground, Durban.
