MASKANDI SINGER, Kwanele “Khaza” Mtolo, needs help from a bad mood that has been bothering him for a long time. The young man who hails from Bergville revealed that he has gone to many people trying to get help but to no avail, so he is asking anyone who can help cure the disease that is leading to death.
Khaza said that a bad spirit sometimes takes him out of the house and then he says that he hangs himself or shoots himself. “Or (be it) as if you could go after the wrong people and they would kill you. This is not content (but) I really need help. This thing has attacked me many times and I don’t know where to go when I am in love with this spirit because the mind goes away, it comes back after a while and I regret what I was doing. I stop and get scared.”
Khaza said that when this spirit comes, his mind moves in such a way that he forgets that he came and has a wife.

Apart from music, Khaza went public on TikTok in 2024 and complained about the event organizer who is famous for managing programs at maskandi events saying that he has finished with budding maskandi.
Khaza said that this person tried to rape him but he was helped by the youth. The young man admitted that he had heard these allegations and said that they had also contacted him about them, but he denied and laid on his back that he was doing this practice. He accused that the maskands were hoarding their fame instead of hitting a big hit.
