THE Zulu saying, “the fall of a house is the rise of another” has been proven by the former Khozi FM broadcaster, Lucky Nkosi, who is now returning to the field of education, which he used to watch and broadcast.
It will be remembered that Lucky, who has been on the radio for 22 years, was one of the broadcasters whose contract was not renewed when the programs were changed, which is done every year in many radio stations every April.
This news of returning to education was confirmed by Lucky himself, in an interview withOf this country where he revealed that this happened because he won the case against him in 2019, for allegedly sexually abusing his colleagues.
“The issue started with the news that it turned out that I was wanted by bullies, they wanted to kill me, which went on to affect my teaching job, and some of my colleagues conspired for me to be suspended from work because they complained that they felt unsafe to work with me because of these allegations.”
He said: “It went so far that the matter was investigated by the Ministry of Education, and then there were others who slandered me uncontrollably and accused me of sexual harassment because they wanted me to be fired from my job.”
He said the matter continued all these years and was discussed in court, until the case was brought against him on March 31, and the decision was made that he should return to work three days from that day.
In addition, an order was issued that he must be paid R2.8 million in compensation for the salary he should have received all these years during the trial, while he was still working at Mariannpark Primary, KwaMamdekazi, Mariannhill, where he was the principal.
“All this proves that from the beginning I was innocent, but it was a conspiracy of people who wanted to destroy my work and my reputation that I have worked hard for all these years. It also proved the existence of God as it coincided with the time when my work on the radio ended,” he said.
He revealed that apart from teaching, he is looking to do it for three years only and then move on from it and he will also continue with his music activities as on October 2, he will be doing a choral music event, Gauteng Meets KZN.
“Furthermore, I plan to invest part of the money I will get now in my Shisanyama and hotel business, which I will build in Vryheid, to pave the way for my business as I already wanted to focus on it,” said Lucky.
