Mrs. Sithembile Magwaza, who has recently been appointed as one of the most successful entrepreneurs in their fields, WANTS to be an example to all people who want to go into business.
Mrs Magwaza from Mandeni, owns the L hotela Clef Boutique Hotellocated in the Midlands in the middle of KwaZulu-Natal. He said he dedicated himself to it from the beginning as he intended it to be one of the best places in the province.
On Saturday, Sibaya in Durban will be the recipient of awards at a ceremony to honor men and women for the good things they do in society, at the Influential Awards 2026.
In this event, he said that people in different fields are considered and selected to be honored for their work.
“I and 100 others, will represent the province of KwaZulu-Natal in this event, which makes me very happy. Being nominated for events of this type, even though I have just entered this field, inspires me and with what is happening, I want to encourage young women to stand up and start what they think because they don’t know where they will put it one day,” she said.
In everything he does, he said he didn’t think anyone would see him, but after hearing this news, he realized that what he does has an impact on society.
“I’m happy, I feel very humbled by opportunities like this when they come, you need motivation these days as in this industry there are also obstacles, but you try to overcome them. We are also grateful for the support we received during the Easter holidays, now we are looking forward to the winter season when there will be different events in our area, we are expecting many visitors,” he said.
She also highlighted that the help she got from some of her colleagues so that she and her husband could buy this hotel, was a big thing that fulfilled her dreams for years.
Although he said that he did not have extensive experience in the hotel industry, he said that by traveling to different countries and staying in the best places, he learned something and he has no doubt that it will continue to make this hotel one of the best in the province.
