A LADY from Pietermaritzburg has made a name for herself in the sportShaka-Ilembe in the second season, Luyanda Zuma, has revealed that being lonely has opened his eyes to the fact that this is a role that must be respected.
Luyanda last year came second in the local Miss SA pageant.
Recently, he plays the role of Dabulamanzi in the play The Enemyon e.tv weekdays.
Speaking about this industry, he said that whatever he enters into, he respects it, that’s why when he gets an opportunity, he chooses to use it with respect.
“Many people came to acting, and when I appeared to participate in the event, some people thought that I had stopped acting and was going to focus on Miss SA’s work, but this is not the case. I returned to acting not because it is a game for me, but because it is something that makes me live. If I get an opportunity anywhere, I use it and I respect the work I have been doing at that time. I urge the youth to respect the work. I always say whether you are a singer, actor or whatever you do in this role, everything you do should be respected,” he said. Luyanda.
He said that he has now returned to acting with this role that will highlight the abuse of a woman who is subjected to things he does not agree with.
“This place reminded me of me when I ignored the story of being an actor because I said it was a game. I was looking at professions like doctors but I came back to acting and realized that this is the profession I was born to be in. Dabulamazi viewers of this show will see that his parents make him do things because they believe that he goes along with them and he has to do them, but that is not the case because everything he does is because he is forced to do it,” said Luyanda.
In this game, he said that by watching it, he sees himself as having grown up a lot because he works with many people he watched on television when he was growing up, and it is clear that he has worked.
Actors like Linda Sebenzo said he started working with them in the game iLockdown but not close to him and today he is happy to work with him.
