AN ACTRESS whose future looks bright in this industry, Nhlanhla Kunene, has revealed that she is tired of acting in places that show her only one thing, crime.

Saying this with a special interview withOf this country the play he is a part of is presented At Father’son Mzansi Magic (161), at 7.30 pm.

Nhlanhla, who was born in Mnabithi, said that being given the same places has made people even fear him when they meet him even though he is not an aggressive person.

Lately, he says he has chosen to act in different places that will give people a different image of him.

“I’m a very open person, people have shown me love many times and that’s a very good thing. But acting the same places in different games has made others look at me with fear even when they meet me in public. So I’ve come out and expressed that I don’t like to be seen acting like this but different from the ones that people have come across in society,” said Nhlanhla.

He said that even though there have been other stories that he does not like acting in a scene that will show him having sex, he said that he will not reject that as it is something that happens in the field they are in.

“I have never said that I don’t like acting in scenes that involve sex, the industry we are in can’t even say that you don’t like acting in a scene like this because many shows have incidents like this, I have no problem with it but what I don’t like anymore is being a criminal,” said Nhlanhla.

In the play that started yesterday, Nhlanhla plays the role of Mxolisi Khumalo, who she says will portray a man with a sense of humor who loves his wife.

In it, he said that people will learn more about traditions, that if you are a person who believes in them, you must follow them and seek information about them and the things you do.

“The things that are happening to us now, things that happened a long time ago, so in this game you will see a black man looking at his origins. Although I won’t say much, people who want to get married will learn from this game that before taking a bride, look at your origins,” he explained.
