Sinesipho Mali, who was the Head of Tactical Analysis in Bafana Bafana, has been hired by MaZulu FC, who annoyed many with his speech after the national team won the World Cup.

Mali was in Hugo Broos’ team where he analyzed and passed on the tactics to the coach. He blocked himself from Mzansi fans on social media after the spread of his video asking people to keep talking. This was seen as a way of defending themselves following their criticism of the tactics used by Broos in the first game of the World Cup.

He made the ‘defensive’ speech after Bafana defeated South Korea in the last group stage match. This success for Bafana was a milestone since the local team had never progressed to the knockout stages.

At the end of last week, Mali apologized for his speech, and revealed that he has left the South African Football Association (Safa).

This newspaper reported before Bafana left the World Cup that Mali had agreed with MaZulu and had told the other players. In MaZulu, he will lead the team that searches for players, the Chief Scouts or the Head of Scouts, which includes Ayanda Mkhize who recently returned from Sandile Zungu’s team.

“I am still dedicated to South African football. I will continue to work as a Technical Adviser, teaching coaches, and a training program aimed at raising the next generation of analysts, scouting players and more. I am proud of my journey, I am proud of my contribution. I will continue to work for South African football,” said Mali on Metro FM.

In the teams he worked for as a Tactical Analyst, Kaizer Chiefs, which he played in kindergarten, Chippa United as Sporting Director, Sekhukhune United as Head of Performance Analysis and Technical Scout. In addition, he has worked with different coaches in national teams that are still developing in Mzansi.

AmaZulu’s spokesperson, Philani Ndlela, said that he has not yet been told anything about Mali’s arrival in the team.

Usuthu is in Johannesburg where he is preparing for the start of the new Betway Premiership season under coach Arthur Zwane, who has been awarded a new two-year contract.
