SUZUZ is changing its footing by expanding to other states the annual business meeting Green Youth Indaba, which brings together young industrialists who focus on different businesses that are responsible for the environment.

This gathering, which is coming back for the 11th time this year and was founded by Mr. Sanele Zulu of the non-profit organization Green Youth Network, used to be held in Durban, as this time it will be held at Superbowl, Sun City, North West from June 15 to 19.

In a statement sent by the organizers of the event, it was revealed that they decided to cooperate with the government of the North West province because they want it to spread to the whole of South Africa, and not end up as if their event is only for the people of KwaZulu-Natal.

“We will continue with our vision of developing young people with the importance of taking care of the environment, we will inform them about the opportunities that exist in the environmental sector and how sticking to such sectors and businesses can help boost the country’s economy,” he said.

They said the program of the event will officially start on June 15 with the Clean-Up Campaign, where more than 150 young people will be involved in projects to make a difference in the community to help clean up pollution and clean the environment.

On June 16, which will be Youth Day, the Green Careers Expo will be held at Orbit College built in Mankwe Municipality, which will be useful for more than 400 students who are doing Grade 9 to matric, who will be enriched with strategies that they should be aware of when they choose the fields they want to study, and they will be given information about the scholarships they can apply for to continue their education.

On June 17, there will be a Green Innovations Pre-Pitch and Green Economy Masterclass, where there will be brainstorming and consultation sessions on information that can help keep the environment clean, and opportunities for prosperity in this industry will also be discussed.

On June 18 and 19, there will be a Green Economy Summit and Awards Ceremony, where different government bodies, businessmen, different municipalities and private bodies will gather to pursue the idea of ​​mutual consultation in this sector, and young people, especially entrepreneurs who make a difference in this industry, will be awarded.

In this gathering, it is expected that there will be more than 30 speakers, more than 1,000 entrepreneurs and young people, and more than 50 budding entrepreneurs who will have the opportunity to advertise their different businesses.
