DURBAN City, which has continued to be busy in the market in this window of signing players, appears to have ended everything by signing Gaston Sirino who was playing for Kaizer Chiefs and goalkeeper Salim Magoola who was preventing Richards Bay.
These players are expected to be announced soon in this team that will appear for the start of the 2026/2027 Betway Premiership season.
Sirino, a left winger, is one of the players that Chiefs decided not to renew their contracts that expired at the end of June.

Magoola, who is originally from Uganda, just started playing for City, has been hearing about the Bay FC jersey for four seasons. He joined it in the 2022/2023 season, from Pretoria Callies.
Apart from Sirino and Magoola, this team from Durban recently signed midfielder Goodman Mosele from Orlando Pirates. For the past three seasons, Mosele was on loan at Chippa United.

Sirino and Morris and coach Khalil Ben Youssef, who has recently taken over the coaching duties at City, will meet as they coached these players at Makhosi.
Youssef is the one who will be leading the Citizens in the inaugural season as they will play in the Caf Confederation Cup. It got this opportunity by winning the Nedbank Cup last season.
