ANELE Mdoda who is one of those announced to host the program at this year’s South African Film and Television Awards, says that for him this will be a night to honor the different artists nominated for these awards.
In this event which will be held tomorrow, it will be broadcast live on two television channels namely Mzansi Magic and SABC2, at 8 pm.
Anele and Sipho Alphi Mkhwanazi are the ones who will collaborate to present this program.
Both of them expressed their happiness for getting the opportunity to present this event which competes with other big ones when it comes to films, programs and television shows.
“I don’t have much to say, but what I have planned is that we must respect all the artists who will be nominated and win awards at this event. I have planned to make them happy by giving them time to enjoy every minute they will get to celebrate their success,” said Anele.
He said that a multi-faceted event like this one needs to not be confused by anything that has started so that he can work on the things he will be saying.
“There is a lot of work, I wonder how I will be able to do everything since there are many things that a person has to look at at the same time but there is everything, we hope that it will go according to plan,” he said.
Sipho revealed that he is also happy to get an opportunity like this because it was his dream to be a presenter of big programs like this.
Others who will be seen on the golden carpet at this event areKatleho Kat Sinivasan and Pamela Mtanga, who will start appearing on both channels at 7.30 pm.
