LUKHUZA returns with a few changes to the show that did well from the first season, theThe Masked Singer: South Africa.

This program which was shown on S3, two seasons ago, is now shown on SABC 2 as it returns on July 4, at 7 pm.

Its judges have not changed as J’Something, Sithelo Shozi, Skhumba and Somizi Mhlongo are still returning.

Its presenter will continue to be Mpho Pops.

Its founder, Anele Mdoda of the recording company Rose and Oaks Media, said that even this year the viewers of the program will continue to be surprised when they see which celebrities will be hidden in the costumes they will be wearing.

“It won’t just be unknown celebrities, we are talking to big celebrities who have made a name for themselves in this country. Another thing we know is that the viewers of this program enjoy the costumes worn by celebrities to hide who they are, and this year they will continue to do so because we have done it in such a way that they don’t see who they are at all when they wear them,” said Anele.

He said they are grateful to all the celebrities they have worked with in the past two years, some of whom finally reached the finals, and won the competition.

Among those celebrities, he said, he included Holly Rey, who confused many by not being able to see who she was in the first season dressed as a candy, known as Lollipop.

In the second season, actor Warren Masemola won the competition confusing the judges dressed as a giraffe, as he was known as Giraffe and until the end the judges were confused as to who he was.

Robyn Verweij from SABC2, said that this program is one of the most exciting for the viewers of this channel.

He said that this year they expect good statistics when it comes to this as it has done very well in the two years since it started.

With this, he said that the good thing is that it does not discriminate by age, it is enjoyed by everyone in this country.

Other celebrities who have appeared in the show include former footballer Dr Khumalo, Maps Maponyane, Boity Thulo, Dineo Ranaka, Jessica Nkosi and others.
