RETURN to Durban for the second year in a row, the Red Bull Shay’iMoto car stunt competition, which will be held at the Suncoast casino on April 18.

For the drivers, they must demonstrate the skills of hitting the bumps and hitting the goalposts while the car skids but without hitting anything. Others get out of the car and do things that leave the audience in awe.

The audience chooses their favorites in collaboration with the judges.

Last year it was Jean “Panjaro” Kruger from Mahikeng who was left behind and Boksie from Cape Town who was defending the title.

The show was hosted by veteran Vic Pardal and broadcaster Hope Mbhele and was shown live on SABC Sports.

This year too, there will be 12 drivers who will be competing for the title of this competition that was established in 2019.

All of them will be trying to follow in the footsteps of Veejaro, King Katra who have won as well as Sam Sam who is now a Red Bull ambassador who travels around the world to show off the game of beating the fat.

Sam Sam is driving his BMW E30 car nicknamed Ultimate Gusheshe.

Tickets have gone on sale at Computicket and the competition will start at 6pm.
