The role of television shows has once again been covered by a dark cloud with the passing of one of the seasoned actors, Mkhetheni Obed “Shiyisicefe” Mgube.

The deceased made a name for himself by playing the role of Sgegede Emzini Of young men and Nhlapho inMthunzini.com. And the viewersShallThey will remember him as he appeared in it. Msenti Mgube, who spoke for the deceased’s family, said Shiyisicefe (77) passed away at home in Mandwahla village, Kwa Jikijiki, Mabomvini, due to complications from diabetes. He said the deceased fell at home, and was taken to a hospital in Sweden because he could no longer speak.

Continuing, Msenti said that the deceased died just after returning from the hospital and it has been three weeks since he was unable to speak.

“The reputation of the accident came to light because he was the coordinator of the people of Mgube and he was the one who organized the family meetings.”

Apart from acting, the deceased is known as a businessman who sells cattle and goats and rents out cold rooms and trailers.

The deceased is survived by his wife MaMfeka, 11 children, 24 grandchildren and two sisters.

He will be buried at his home cemetery in Mabomvini, Greytown, on Sunday. Those who need full details can contact Msenti at079 1519 288.
