Google Photos AI Feature: Nowadays, AI features are being seen in everything from smartphones to laptops. Google has also added a new AI powered feature Wardrobe to its Photos app. It has just been launched for Android users. The feature will also be rolled out for iOS users later this year.

An AI feature has been added to Google Photos, which can prove to be very useful especially for women. The company has brought AI powered wardrobe feature. Currently, this feature has been brought for Android. The feature will also come to iOS users in late 2026. This tool will automatically identify clothing items from your photo library and manage them in a digital wardrobe. Then this feature will allow you to mix and match clothes and try them on virtually. The company says that a new feature of Google Photos will create a catalog of the clothes you are wearing in the photo and create a digital wardrobe. With this, your entire wardrobe will be at your fingertips.

How does the feature work?

The new wardrobe feature of Google Photos is based on AI. It uses artificial intelligence to automatically create a custom “wardrobe” collection based on the clothes you see in your photo library.

What are its benefits?

  1. It’s giving you a new way to manage and view your wardrobe from your old photos.
  2. You can filter it by category. View everything together or view a single category such as jewellery, top or bottom.
  3. With this you can easily find those things which are kept in some corner of the cupboard and after a time you forget that you even have them.
  4. You can create a new set by mixing clothing items together. You can then share them with friends or save them on a digital moodboard.
  5. You can create different moodboards for different occasions like summer weddings, a trip to Italy, or clothes to wear to work.
  6. You can try wearing the clothes virtually. Before wearing clothes, check how a dress will look on you.

How to use?

This feature is very easy to use. You select different things and then click on “Try it on” to see its preview. Currently, it has been brought for Android devices. The feature will also be available for iOS users by the end of this year.
