AI company Anthropic has implemented special prices in India for the subscription of its popular AI model Claude. Now Indian users will not need dollars to make payments, which will eliminate the hassle of forex charges and separate GST, because GST is included in the new prices.

Anthropic Claude India Price: Till now, to buy the subscription of Anthropic’s AI model Claude, Indian users also had to pay in US dollars. This caused problems to users who had to pay forex charges and GST in addition to the plan price. But now, to solve this problem of Indian users, Anthropic has implemented special prices for India, through which you can make payment in Indian currency. Due to this, you will not have to pay separate GST and Forex charges. The company is also giving discount on annual billing.

How much does Claude’s subscription cost in India?

  • Indian prices of Claude have been listed on its official website.
  • The starting price of Claude Pro plan is Rs 2,000 per month (if you take a one-year subscription). Earlier, for this, Indian users had to pay 20 dollars (about Rs 1,630) every month, which did not include additional fees and GST.
  • If you pay every month then you will have to pay Rs 2,399 for Pro. If you take a full year subscription then it costs you a little cheaper. In this you will have to pay Rs 2,000 every month i.e. a total of Rs 24,000 for the whole year.
  • The 20x tier of Claude Max can cost up to Rs 23,999 per month. This plan used to cost $200 (about Rs 19,170) per month in US dollars. It is worth noting that all Claude’s paid plans in India include GST.

Price of Claude Max and Claude Team

  • If you want to get more out of your Claude subscription, you can purchase Claude Max. In India, the 5x version of Claude Max is available at Rs 11,999 per month and the 20x version is available at Rs 23,999 per month.
  • Earlier the price of Max 5x was $100 (approximately Rs 9,584) per month and Max 20x was priced at $200 (approximately Rs 19,170) per month.
  • For business, Anthropic has set India-specific pricing for Claude Team subscriptions. The ‘Team Standard’ seat is priced at Rs 2,399 per month for an annual subscription. If you pay the bill every month then the price becomes Rs 2,999.
  • For the premium plan, you will have to pay Rs 11,999 every month on annual billing and Rs 14,999 every month on monthly billing. Like Claude Pro and Claude Max, these prices also include GST.

India is the second largest market
