HAPPINESS was written on the faces of Kaizer Chiefs’ acting coaches, Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef, following the victory of this Naturena team, against TS Galaxy in the Betway Premiership match on Sunday afternoon, at FNB Stadium, Soweto.

This win confirmed Chiefs’ third place on the log, which increases Kaze’s chances with this team by returning to the Caf Confederation Cup, which they came out of in the group stage this season.

Thanks to this win, Amakhosi will be comfortable in third place on the log with 42 points from 22 games.

They have opened a gap of three points between themselves and the team in fourth place, AmaZulu FC, who have played two more games.

Flavio Da Silva, who was one of the replacements in the Chiefs’ scheme with goalkeeper Brandon Petersen, opened the scoring with a goal that he headed into the net in the 35th minute.

In the 78th, Glody Lilepo scored the second goal for Chiefs and it was not the last nail, although he hit the Galaxy’s goalkeeper, Ira Tape, quickly out of his goal.

Chiefs will play their next league game against Magesi FC at Peter Mokaba Stadium, Polokwane, on Wednesday at 7.30pm.
