THE SON of Afro pop star Brenda “Mabrrr” Fassie has ventured into contemporary dance music called igqom’.

Bongani Fassie will release an album titled Shoe line May 8. He said this EP he intends to show the public that he has been born again and has corrected his wrong ways. Bongani said that being blown away by the wind in this role helped him because it gave him the opportunity to gather strength, energy and renew himself.

“This work is me, I have fully returned to being myself without fear, constraints and approval of anyone. It is not just aEP but the message.”

He said what made him rebuke the music that was founded in Mthaniya was because he wanted to pay tribute to KwaZulu-Natal. He said that he has never forgotten that he is a self-proclaimed villager in Langa township, Western Cape.

Bongani said he made this song Shoe line with the aim of celebrating the people of his place of origin. Apart from the drum, he also included the music genrepiano, Afro tech, barcadi, hip-hop it isR&B. This singer started to gain fame when he appeared in his mother’s videos when he was young.

As he grew older, Bongani sang Afro pop with Chicco Twala’s son, Longwe, who still called himself New Age.

He came back again doing thehip hop they call themselves Jozi. After that, he appeared with bad news in newspapers and social media, being affected by drug addiction.
