YOUNG PEOPLE who are unemployed and have businesses who don’t know how to grow and market them will have a unique opportunity to learn about strategies and ways to achieve that – using a modern technology system.

Ms Nandisa Ngubelanga, the owner of the technology company Innohance Digital in Margate, Port Shepstone, is in charge of this program which she calls Future Proof Youth: Practical AI Skills.

Elaborating on it, Ms. Ngubelanga said that this thought came to her because she saw that the number of young people who lack job opportunities is increasing, as well as those who have different businesses but are not thriving because they have not been taught how to market them.

“This is where I will intervene by organizing information sharing sessions, in which I intend to help 150 unemployed youths with different businesses, to help them with information to improve their businesses so that they are in line with the times and what is needed,” he said.

Continuing, he said that he has now opened his arms to young people to contact him on social media to register to be a part of this program which he will do for two days on June 24 and 25 from 9 am to 12 noon each day.

“The good thing about it is that I will host it using a modern technology system that will make it easier to communicate with people from where they are sitting, and I will also make sure that I teach them in Zulu and English so that it is easier to communicate, and we can also avoid losing the message to be read,” said Ms. Ngubelanga.

He said that the time we live in now requires more young people who have knowledge of modern technology, and who will be able to use their skills in a way that will be useful in the needs of today’s life, that is why he intervened to provide the knowledge he already has.

Ms Ngubelanga started her technology company in 2019; and in terms of education, he holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Legal Studies and Criminology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology Management from Mancosa.
