The SIU has received a court order authorizing the search of Omar Motor Den, Malahleni, with a Bentley Continental GT car in cooperation with the investigation into the embezzlement of the Tembisa Hospital tender involving a well-known businessman who is still under investigation.

The Special Tribunal ordered the seizure of the vehicle and prohibited any further actions involving the Bentley while the investigation is ongoing. The SIU says the sellers failed to disclose that the vehicle was there even though there was an order to keep it.

When the SIU, its Curator, and the SAPS arrived at the shop and met with its owner, Yusuf Omar, he angrily refused to open the room that controls the operation of the cameras to the police.

It ended up bent stubbornly toMr. Yusuf Omar has been picked up by a company that unlocks the keys, he went downstairs and opened it. In line with their letter, the SIU took CCTV footage from 22nd May 2026 to date, another warrant was issued requesting the immediate arrest of Yusuf Omar.
