THE COACH of Mamelodi Sundowns, Miguel Cardoso, will face Kaizer Chiefs at home on Wednesday, driving high after winning the Betway Premiership Coach of the Month award, for the third time in a row.

This Portuguese coach who has returned Sundowns to the top of the Betway Premiership log, was chosen as Coach of The Month for the month of April. This month, Sundowns won three matches, and drew two of the games they played. In this award, Cardoso defeated Abdeslam Ouaddou of Orlando Pirates of Chiefs, Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef who won three out of six games in April.

The prize for the player of the month, Betway Premiership Player of The Month, was won by Oswin Appollis of Pirates, who scored the best goal, Betway Premiership Goal of The Month. Appollis won with a goal scored when they faced MaZulu 3-0 in the Betway Premiership match at Orlando Amstel Arena. In four games, Appollis scored four goals and created one.

Cardoso will lead Sundowns when they face Chiefs at Loftus Versfeld Stadium, Pretoria, on Wednesday, at 7.30pm.
