Bhobloza died on January 15, 2021, aged 73 at the time. He joined Ukhozi FM in 1978, where he worked for 19 years as a broadcaster and 13 years as a station manager between 1997 and 2010. He is known for the role he played in traditional music that launched the masked singer Sgiya Ngengoma’s television program called Ezodumo.
