It is reported that they were wanted for many cases of murder and attempted murder of two suspects who were shot dead during a shootout with the police in Mzomusha area, Newtown C Ward, Nanda on Monday.
The police were looking for at least five suspects, and in the operation that started at midnight on Monday morning, two of the suspects were identified in Mzomusha with the help of a drone.
When the police approached the house where the suspects were hiding, there was a shootout that resulted in the two suspects aged 20 and 25 years old being seriously injured. Two guns were recovered from the suspects.
Police say the search for the remaining suspects is ongoing.
