Hope has returned to the coach of TS Galaxy, Adnan Beganovic, with the end of the Fifa sanctions imposed on the team after the chairman of the team, Tim Sukazi, has paid the required fine.

UBeganovic uHe revealed that soon the club will be able to legally register the players it had signed as it was condemned by the governing body of football in the world, Fifa, due to being in debt to the players. Galaxy owed the Liberian striker uJegbay Morris Konneh.

Beganovic said that Fifa is still confirming whether the player who filed the case against them has received the money to release them and be able to register players.

“According to the information I have, another part of the sentence has been removed. We have paid the player, Jegbay. But you know how Fifa works, you pay and wait.

Once he has received the money, he will have to confirm it with Fifa, and then Fifa will complete the sentence. I think that next week all the sentences will be finished, then we will pray and register the players,” said Beganovic who expressed concern about his team’s difficulty in signing players.

“The end of these sentences will help us strengthen our squad, especially in the midfield. Tshepo (Kakora), George from Royal AM, and two other young players, will give us width in our squad. Our main goal is to finish the season in the Top 8.”

Among the players Galaxy are expected to sign soon are George from Highbury FC, Kakora from Magesi FC, Matome Mmolai from Leicesterford City and Onke Moletshe from Venda FC.

Before the start of this season, The Rockets lost key players including Lebone Seema and Kamogelo Sebelebele who joined Orlando Pirates.

Qobolwakhe Sibande has joined Petrojet of Egypt. In the January window, it parted ways with Puso Dithejane, who was signed by the Chicago Fire of the USA, and Khulumani Ndamane, who was signed by Mamelodi Sundowns.

The Galaxy will face Sundowns in the Last 16 of the Nedbank Cup on Saturday at 3 pm, at the Solomon Mahlangu Stadium, KwaMhlanga.
