While one Eastern Cape family mourns the brutal stabbing of a teenager and her grandmother, another family is grieving after their teenage daughter was beaten to death. Boyfriends have been implicated in both incidents.
Sihle Dumekude, 18, from Marikana in Molteno, died on Friday night after she was beaten to death, allegedly by her 28-year-old boyfriend, Akhona Ntlangani.
Ntlangani appeared in the Sterkstroom Magistrate’s Court on Monday, charged with murder.
