Bongani Baloyi’s Xiluva has joined Jacob Zuma’s MK Party in calling for the abolishment of the Constitution as the supreme law of the land, and for it to be replaced by apartheid-style “parliamentary supremacy”.
In a statement released on Monday, Baloyi said the “country must consider alternative leadership that can prioritise good governance, transparency, and inclusive policies to mitigate these risks and strive for a better future for all South Africans”.
“Therefore, correcting the government from the top is essential in prioritising good governance. Leadership sets the tone for the entire government structure and influences decision-making processes,” he said.
