The police working in cooperation with the security officers of the Airports Company South Africa (ACSA), arrested the South African women on Saturday, at the OR Tambo International Airport.
It is said that these suspects are trying to smuggle drugs worth more than five million rand which were hidden in their bodies.
The first report indicates that the suspects were on their way to China via Dubai. The search led to the discovery of drugs hidden inside sneakers, underwear, and private parts.
The suspects are expected to appear before the Kempton Park Magistrates Court on Tuesday, March on charges related to drug trafficking.
