A 41-year-old woman died while queueing at the South Africa Security Agency (Sassa) office in Bloemfontein, Free State, on Monday.

Department of Social Development spokesperson Thembile Nqabeni said the woman was at the offices to apply for a disability and child support grants.

He added that the woman had arrived at 10:00 and waited for her turn after taking her numbered ticket.
