David Miller is older and wiser and has seen every Proteas playoff script play out in every gory manner.

He’s been around since 2010, making his white-ball debuts against the West Indies, just after that year’s World Cup, where SA didn’t make it past the group stages.

He’s been to every T20 World Cup since, experiencing every low the Proteas came across, including the 2014 semi-final against India of which he’s the only survivor.
