AI Agent Now it is not just in imagination but has come into reality. Recently, Andrej Karpathy, founder of Eureka Labs, told in the No Priors podcast that his AI agent handles many household tasks. Now he has deleted 6 apps from his phone, because his AI agent controls the work done by those apps from one place.
Also keeps an eye on delivery
Carpathy said that this AI agent also pays attention to the deliveries coming to his house. Whenever a FedEx truck pulls up outside their house, the system sends them a photo via WhatsApp and asks them to check the delivery. He also said that this setup helped him remove six different apps from his phone, because now this AI agent controls all those tasks from one place.
AI agents are more advanced than AI chatbots
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing many things. Now it is becoming a part of everyday life. Voice assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant work based on instructions given by users. At the same time, due to the growth of generative AI and large language models, a new type of system is being seen a lot these days, which is called AI agents. Unlike common assistants, these systems do not just work like chatbots. Rather, these are more advanced and work-focused tools.
Can you control apps?
Let us tell you that AI Agent is a generative AI enabled tool. It uses models like GPT or Claude as its core system. Unlike AI chatbots, AI agents can perform many types of tasks. For example, they can read and write files, run shell commands, browse the web, send email, and control local apps.
Andrzej Karpathy explained that he runs his AI agent on a GB300 superchip. Dobby connects to devices on their home’s local network. This means that those systems cannot be accessed directly through the Internet.
The AI agent doesn’t just manage household chores. In fact, some platforms are also being created specifically for them to interact with each other. One such platform is Moltbook. It is said to be a social network specially designed for AI agents.
Security concerns
The popularity of AI agents is increasing. However, there are still security and operational concerns related to it. These include risks such as data leaks, misuse of tools, and unintentional actions by automated systems.
