When you first see the vehicle ad, it seems perfect: a reasonably good-looking car at a very attractive price. 

So, of course, you will message the seller to check whether it’s still available and how you can buy it.

And that, friends, is the root of this scam becoming more popular on social media platforms where there are few ways to verify that the car being advertised for sale is, in fact, for sale.
