• 1/2 cup chopped palak • 1/4 cup soaked toor dal • 1/4 cup soaked masoor dal • 1 chopped tomato • 1 chopped onion • 5 garlic cloves • 1 green chilli • 1/3 cup tamarind water • 1.5 tsp sambar powder • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder • 1 tsp red chilli powder • Salt • 1.5 cups water • 2 tsp ghee • 1 tsp mustard seeds • 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds • 1 dry red chilli • 8-10 curry leaves

• Add chopped palak, toor dal, and masoor dal into a pressure cooker.

• Next, add chopped tomato, chopped onion, garlic cloves, tamarind water, and sambar masala.

• In the next step, add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and water. Cover the lid and pressure cook till you get 4 whistles.

• Once dal and vegetables have boiled completely, gently blend everything with a hand blender.

• Saute mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, dry red chilli, and curry leaves in ghee. Add the tadka to the dal and stir well.
