Henley Passport Index 2024 is here and it has revealed the ranks of the strongest and weakest passports globally.

The list is curated based on data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA). They mainly analyse the number of destinations a country’s passport holder can access without a prior visa.

With visa-free entry to 58 foreign destinations, India secured the 82nd position this year.

Singapore has reclaimed its position as the most powerful passport in the world. Unlike last year, the country stands alone at the top spot on the list with 195 visa-free travel destinations for its citizens.

With 192 visa-free travel destinations, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and Spain tied for the second spot.

With visa-free entry in 185 countries, UAE’s passport has risen to the 9th rank on the Henley Passport Index 2024.
