Skip store-bought custard powder and make a healthier version of Mango Fruit Custard with this recipe by Chef Guntas Sethi.
10-12 saffron strands 1.5 cups roasted makhana 3 cups milk 7-8 cashews 2 tbsp honey 1 cup mango puree 2 tsp vanilla essence 1 cup grapes 1 cup mangoes 1 cup pomegranate seeds 2 tsp sliced almonds 2 tsp sliced pistachios

1. Soak the saffron strands.
2. Dry roast the makhana and add cashew, cardamom powder, soaked saffron strands, and hot milk. 3. Cover and let it sit for at least an hour.
4. Transfer the soaked mixture into a blender jar.
5. Add honey, vanilla essence, and mango puree to the jar. 6. Blend it all together.
7. In a big bowl, add all the fruits and pour in the custard mixture. 8. Top it with some chopped nuts and let it chill in the fridge for a few hours.
