On the heels of his announced return to full-time racing starting in 2024, Formula 1 champion Jenson Button is ditching some of his other lucrative gigs to refocus on the sport.
Including renovating charming bungalows alongside his talented former model-turned-interior designer wife, Brittny Button of Button Interiors.
As such, the couple has recently listed their ultra-cozy, stylish retreat in Palm Springs, California, for $2,300,000.
Set at the base of the beautiful San Jacinto Mountains, in the sought-after celebrity enclave of The Mesa in South Palm Springs, the 1937-built bungalow is a treat for the eyes.
Extensively renovated by Jenson and Brittny, the Spanish-style gated estate — dubbed The Mesa Bungalows — is now being offered turnkey furnished.
The property’s celebrity status predates the Buttons; the home was previously owned by filmmaker/screenwriter Josh Evans, actress Ali MacGraw’s son and Steve McQueen’s stepson.
The bungalow’s design was inspired by the glamorous Beverly Hills Hotel and Jayne Mansfield’s legendary Pink Palace
The decor blends vibrant pinks reminiscent of Barbie’s Malibu DreamHouse and palm leaf green decor that adds an extra note of charm.
The bungalow’s colorful interiors also tie in nicely with Pantone’s Color of the Year: Peach Fuzz.
Inside, we find four separate ensuite bedrooms, including one with a private sun deck.
Outdoor amenities include a kidney-shaped pool, spa, cascading waterfall, white iron gazebo, and water fountain.
But there’s also a relaxing upper patio ideal for alfresco dining with an outdoor kitchen, built-in gas grill, pergola, fireplace, and a custom decorative daybed.
