Digital creators Sumit & Priyanka Kapoor (@dillifoodies) took to Instagram to share the recipe for Satvik Paneer Lauki Cheela that is perfect for Navratri.
200g paneer ½ medium bottle gourd/lauki ¼ cup kuttu/buckwheat flour ¼ cup chopped coriander leaves 1-2 chopped green chillies ½ tsp roasted cumin powder ½ black pepper powder Sendha namak Water Ghee

1. Grate lauki and paneer in a large bowl.
2. Add coriander leaves, green chillies, kuttu flour, cumin powder, black pepper powder and sendha namak to the bowl. 3. Mix well and gradually add water to make a thick batter.
4. Heat a non-stick pan and grease it with a little ghee/oil. 5. Pour a ladleful of the batter into the pan and spread it out to form a cheela.
6. Cook the cheela on medium heat until it's golden brown and crisp on one side. 7. Gently flip & cook the other side until it's also golden brown and cooked well.
And your Satvik Paneer Lauki Cheela is ready! Serve with curd or coriander chutney, and enjoy!
