To enjoy and experience the chills of the last couple of weeks of the winter season, gorge on some yummy egg custard. If you want to cook some at home, here's the recipe.

• To make egg custard, start by making a batter by whisking eggs, milk, vanilla essence, salt, and sugar.

• Whisk all the ingredients well and make sure that all the sugar granules have mixed perfectly.

• Once done, add some cream as well and whip up everything together again. • Meanwhile, preheat the microwave oven to about 150°C-160°C.

• Next, take small bowls and pour the whisked mixture nicely. Do not fill completely to the brim.

• Take a baking tray and pour water in it. Then simply put the cups inside it and bake for at least 50 minutes. • Once baked well, cool down and enjoy!
