The Prime Minister of Zulu says that it is not surprising to hear supporters of Prince Simakade Jackson of Zwelithini saying that they do not accept Zwelithini’s King Misuzulu Sinqobile even though he was approved by the Constitutional Court.
The Royal Palace said it was expected that the supporters of Prince Simakade would not be quick to accept because of the pain. They said this while talking to the media yesterday.
Last week, the Constitutional Court rejected Prince Simakade’s request to challenge the decision in favor of President Cyril Ramaphosa, by approving the appointment of Silo.
The court decision means the end of the court dispute. Despite this, those who support Prince Simakade said they do not accept the Ndlalamithi of the kings.
The Chairman of the Silo Council, King Zuzifa of Mangosuthu Buthelezi, said that they will not be discouraged by the persistence of Prince Simakade’s supporters.
“It is normal for people to act like this when they feel pain. Millions of rands have been lost in court cases. Many efforts have been made in the past to reconcile. It will not discourage us from making efforts as kings and headquarters, we will try everything to reconcile.”
The Prime Minister of Zulu, Reverend Thulasizwe Buthelezi, said they will use the court’s decision to create unity in the Royal Family.
“Instead of fighting the opposition, we should use this opportunity to unite the Royal Family of Zulu. The Royal Family of Zulu is the platform of the whole of Zulu. We will work together with the kings and the Royal Family to restore stability. We hope that the opposition will also see that they have nowhere to go now that they have been dismissed by the Constitutional Court.”
Silo’s spokesperson, Mntwana Thulani ka Gqikazi Zulu, said Mbube will always open his arms to the opposition.
“I will use the King’s words where he once said that their seats will be for the children, they will sit and wait for them in the Royal Palace. The hands will always be open. The end does not mean darkness for the opposition because they were not doing something that has never been done. It does not mean the end of life for those who opposed. According to the court, they have reached a dead end. They should come back and be spoken to.”
Prince Thuthukani of Mcwayizeni Zulu, said it is not pleasant as the Royal Family is divided.
“We also don’t like it when we watch the Royal Children from afar, their seats are there. The King’s brothers and sisters are sitting on the same stomach. We also accompany them and feel lighter when they are not there. The car has never gone without a steering wheel.
“Children whose fathers come back, close to their children. There is no place where there are no mistakes. There is no house that does not smoke. We miss the Lord when they are there. We will remain with open arms. Those who come home. We pray that their hearts will not soften. They will return to the fold. Then when they don’t like it, we will fix it. No one holds a grudge. What happened happened in its time.”
