Police have arrested Shahied Davids, the owner of the New Age Travel agency after he landed at Cape Town International Airport on Sunday.
The 58-year-old has been accused by some pilgrims who used the services of his travel agency of swindling them out of Umrah packages to Saudi Arabia.
Davids was arrested at the airport by police on suspicion of theft under false pretences. He is expected to in the Wynberg Magistrates’ Court once charged.
