As pods of whales swim off Hermanus’ coast, whale crier 30-year-old Sive Mbizo blows his kelp horn to alert visitors of their presence.
Mbizo, who is the only whale crier in the world, found his passion for marine life four years ago through a learnership programme at the Wildlife and Environmental Society of South Africa.
