The South African Weather Service predicted partly cloudy and cool to warm conditions for most of the country.

Gauteng will be partly cloudy and cool, but warm in the extreme north.

The expected UVB sunburn index is high.

Partly cloudy and cool to warm temperatures are expected in Mpumalanga and Limpopo.

The North West and the Free State will have morning fog patches in places at first, otherwise it will be partly cloudy and cool to warm.

There will be morning fog patches along the coast and in the east of the Northern Cape, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot conditions are expected.

It will be fine over the central parts.

The wind along the coast will be a light southerly to south-westerly.

The Western Cape can expect cloudy conditions along the coastal areas, otherwise it will be partly cloudy and cool to warm.

It will be fine in the north.

The wind along the coast will be a light south-westerly along the south coast in the morning, otherwise a light to moderate southerly to south-easterly is forecast.

The expected UVB sunburn index is high.

Cloudy and cool conditions are expected in the western half of the Eastern Cape, with morning and evening fog in places along the coast and adjacent interior.

The wind along the coast will be a moderate to fresh south-westerly, reaching strong in places east of Oyster Bay in the morning.

The eastern half of the province can expect cool conditions, with morning fog in the north, otherwise fine and warm temperatures are forecast.

It will be partly cloudy from the afternoon.

The wind along the coast will be a light to moderate north-easterly, but north-westerly in places.

It will become a moderate to fresh south-westerly from the south by mid-morning.

KwaZulu-Natal can expect partly cloudy conditions in the west at times, otherwise it will be fine and warm.

The wind along the coast will be a moderate to fresh easterly to north-easterly.

The expected UVB sunburn index is extreme.
