A woman who killed and buried two of her lovers and her teenage son in 2016, 2017 and 2018, has been given three life sentences – and the judge who jailed her has described her as “an evil person” who doesn’t deserve mercy.

In passing sentence in the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria, Judge Papi Mosopa said Pamela Ncumisa Selani, 47, killed Michael Tshangisa and Gift Phiri, as well as her 17-year-old son, Avile Jongwa, in a “barbaric manner”.

“The accused should be sent to jail for a long time. The court views her as an evil person. No person can kill three people, including her own child, and continue living as if nothing happened,” Mosopa added.
