IMOTO: MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER EDITION 25

CELEBRATING 25 years of the Outlander in style at Mitsubishi as they launched the special Edition 25.

In a special way they only made 10.

This SUV was first introduced in 2001 when it was still called Airtrek.

Lerato Nonyane who is the General Manager: Product & Marketing at Mitsubishi Motors South Africa (MMSA), said the Outlander is among their favorite cars. He said Edition 25 celebrates that success.

Outside Outlander Edition 25 they changed it here and there to make it different.

They have replaced the front grille and the skid guard below.

At the back, they put a calm color on the lights and also changed the skid plate.

It also has unique 20-inch rims and the beauty is added by the panoramic sunroof.

Inside, they made all the lights LED. The seats are leather and the driver’s seat is electrically adjustable.

At the front there is a 12.3 inch Display Audio system that you can connect to a mobile phone with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and it has navigation. When charging the mobile they changed the USB ports to Type-C and there is a place for wireless charging.

Music is heard from seven Yamaha speakers.

It’s the front and they’ve redesigned the drink holder, and they’ve also increased the space in the luggage compartment.

Under the bonnet they didn’t change the engine. There is still a 2.5 liter, four-cylinder petrol engine with 135kW and 245Nm of torque. It drives all wheels with an 8 speed CVT gearbox.
