ISHAYA attacked the Royal Family of Zulu after the news appeared that Mome is in the process of legalizing the work of prostitution.

This came after the Ministry of Justice confirmed that it is not long before the prostitutes get the authority to do this work under the rules.

If this proposed law ends up being successful, the spokesperson for the Royal Family, Prince Thulani Zulu, said it would mean the country’s decay.

He stated that they as the Royal Family are not in agreement with this proposed story because it will ruin many things in the nation.

He said that according to KwaZulu culture, a woman’s cattle are eaten by her father if she eats cattle.

The child asked if in this situation, when a woman sells on her own and the money is taken from her, does that mean she has taken her father’s place?

”What exactly can be done if this kind of law is passed? I don’t believe that anything can go well again. It’s just the truth, after all, this is the shame we’re talking about. It’s something that shouldn’t even be talked about because it’s very bad,” he said.

He went on to complain that if this law is approved and there will be more women doing this work, it will definitely lead to a decrease in marriages.

Currently, prostitution is illegal in South Africa, but it does happen. However, the government says that the plan to change that is going very well and the negotiations are reaching a climax.

This issue is being discussed by different agencies including the Department of Justice, Health, Community Development, Home Affairs and the Department of Prosecution.

This came after a big meeting between the Deputy in the Ministry of Justice in this country, Andries Nel and various bodies representing sex workers including a body called Sex Workers Organisatiion, Sex Workers Education And Advocacy Taskforce (SWEAT). The report was released after months of investigation.

It will be remembered that the Cabinet first passed the draft in 2022. There were people who were not satisfied with this, which eventually led to the fact that in 2025 different government departments will meet to consider this issue and have questions.

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Justice in this country, Terrence Manase, confirmed that the discussions on this issue are at another level.

He pointed out that the Deputy Minister, Nel, has given assurances to independent organizations that sell prostitutes as to what this law will look like.

Among other things, he said that they will not be forced to register and they will not be forced to test for HIV.

Soke Gender Justice said that there are too many women who sell prostitution who have been victims of abuse. According to the research, it appears that half of the prostitutes have faced the fear of torture.

The UNAID organization believes that the approval of this law can avoid many things as it says that 33% to 46% of prostitutes are infected with the AIDS virus.
