The headmaster of Mpumulwane Primary, Mr. Sithembiso Khumalo, has been arrested after the High Court of Thekwini on Monday acquitted him of the murder of the policeman of the Thekwini Council, Captain Zwelakhe Ntombela.

It will be remembered that the deceased was shot dead at his home in S, Mlaza, in 2023. He was rushed to the Siphingo Medical Towers hospital where the accident happened.

After this incident, the police started their thorough investigation which eventually led to the arrest of the bull that shot the deceased, Mzo Ntombela, who came to the court soon after, confessed to the crime and accused all those who were involved when the plot was hatched to impeach Ntombela.

Among the people that the ox called by name, there was Mrs. Nagtsegbo Faith Ntombela who was married to the deceased.

It is now history that Faith, who used to smile in court, eventually pleaded guilty and the court sentenced him to life imprisonment.

Another whose name came up was the feared bull in KwaZulu-Natal, who appeared in shorts on the other side, Khulani Cele and his Khumalo.

A few weeks passed and the police picked up Faith and Khumalo. Both applied for bail while the case was still in the Mlaza Magistrate’s Court, Faith bailed him out, Khumalo got it and was able to go to Christmas with his family.

Today, Monday, Khumalo abandoned him, so the forests for hiding ended, and he was buried in his shorts.
