Vosloorus police confirm that Mazwi Mpumelelo Kubheka, 27, who was reported missing on 2 April 2026 has been found safe. He is said to have presented himself at the Vosloorus police station on the night of May 2, 2026.

His identity has been confirmed and he will be reunited with his family after a medical examination. At the moment, the circumstances surrounding the missing person’s case remain sketchy and the police investigation is ongoing.

“This person appeared at the Vosloorus police station on the night of May 2, 2026. It has been confirmed that he is indeed the person who will be reunited with his family after a health check,” said police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi.

Authorities said the circumstances surrounding his disappearance are still unclear, as investigations are underway to determine what happened during the nearly 30 days he disappeared.

“Currently, the circumstances surrounding the case of the missing person are still unclear and the police investigation is ongoing,” added Nevhuhulwi.
