The name of the King of Mathulini who bowed down unexpectedly, Phathisizwe Philbert Luthuli (64) has been in the headlines for many things.

It turns out that the king fell to the ground on Monday around 8 pm. This news appears to have shocked the community of Mnini, Mgababa.

The chief of Magcino, Mathulini, who is also a member of the family, Mr Msawakhe Luthuli, said that they were not to be outdone by the king’s bowing.

He described the king as someone who loved his nation very much and always strived to see it develop in every way.

”The king would do anything to ensure that his nation prospers and progress. We have learned so much good from it. We are sure to die the one who called him by his journey in the world,” he said.

He highly praised the king for the role he has designed in the development of education in this area. He said the king was passionate about education.

”The king would do anything when it comes to the issue of schools in this area. It wanted to see them do well and be successful. We are very grateful that he is still alive,” explained the chief.

He said that what soothes their wounds is that the king has done a lot for his nation. He pointed out that it has been a long time since the king led the Mathulini tribe.

He said the king had more than 20 children, and left behind His Royal Highness MaMsomi.

Even though the chief says this, but as Zulu says that there is no good man, it is the same for the king as his name has been in the headlines in the past years for negative things.

There was a time when his tribe rose up and accused him of employing his children in the positions of his council.

This led to a great rift between the king and his council. There are some people who said that the king has gone astray with his actions.

What caused the conflict was that there were two open positions in the national court, that of the secretary and the person who cleaned the court.

It is said that while waiting for the council to hold an interview, the king announced that there were people he had hired, which turned out to be his two children.

This caused a lot of anger in the community, accusing the king of putting himself first.

It is a country reported in detail about that issue and even contacted the king who expressed concern and asked who moved this issue to the paper.

“Since I became the king, I have never heard that the matter of hiring a clerk has ever been taken to the newspapers. It is my right to hire a clerk. Another thing you need to know is that this matter is not for the newspapers, it is better not to write it,” said the king in response. It is a country.

The King in 2018 also made headlines and his name when the public accused him of always being seen in entertainment venues banging the horns.

The public also accused the king of using the money from the sale of land and going to indulge in pleasure.

There was a dispute between the king and a local businessman, Mr. Edward Mpeko who had a place to sleep in the same place, the king is said to have finally kicked him out.

Mpeko filed a case at the High Court of Pietermaritzburg and was ordered to pay the costs of the case.

Last year it was in the headlines and the name of the king when Magcino turned out to be two chiefs.

There were members of the community who accused the king of creating noise by placing a chief over another.

It is a country he contacted the king about this, and he revealed that he knew that there was one chief and that he had removed the other because he had become a rebel.

The king has been on the throne for 38 years as he was installed in 1988. The Department of Governance and Cooperation and Indigenous Affairs in KwaZulu Natal has expressed its condolences to the family.
