MAYOR Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma is kicking rumors that the suspension of the chief executive officer of this municipality, Mr. Nkosiyezwe Vezi, is due to the fact that he commented on the social media on the issue concerning the association of one of the officials of this municipality, with the disappearance of R1.5 million.

Speaking toOf this country Ms. Nqobile Vakalisa, who is in charge of Communications in the council, said that this is not true, but the truth is that the council agreed that Vezi should take a leave.

”Someone will fill his place as he will be on vacation. But it is not true that his going on vacation is about the fact that he commented on social media about this issue,” he said.

Continuing, he said that tomorrow, the municipality will release a full statement in which he will explain in detail about this issue and also announce the replacement of Vezi as he is on vacation.

He said that since they are only responsible for communications, no news of this kind has ever reached their ears. This uproar comes after news that linked one of the officials of this municipality to the disappearance of the money spread wildly on social media.

Even though it spread like this on the social media, this officer also came out and revealed that he was just being slandered by the spleen and did not eat the meat.

We have suspected a conspiracy to tarnish its name by certain people whose intentions are known only to them. We then revealed that there is no division in this municipality and everything is going well.

“There is no disagreement in the municipality,” clarified the official who is accused of missing money while talking toOf this country.

It turns out that this issue has been discussed a lot in the community as it turns out that the community wants to get to the bottom of it and to know how true it is.

The Mayor of this municipality, Mrs. Sindisiwe Msomi MaJobe, said that an investigation into the matter has begun. “We don’t know how long it will take but it all depends a lot on what we get.”

Mrs Msomi said that she does not like to expand on it until the time comes for the investigation to be completed, she pointed out that although they are shocked by it, they are still continuing with good public works, including the construction of roads, halls and pedestrian bridges.
