THE disagreement between the King of the Mpungose tribe and the chief of this area, who was fired from his position last year, is being accused of doing whatever he wants.
It is a country found out that King Zakhe Mpungose was not happy with the way, Chief Mntukathelwa Mpungose, in Nkungumathe, eStrongly, behaves with it.
It is said that the conflict between these people started after he became the chief and he did not take the king’s orders, he did whatever he could to make it seem like the king’s tribe is in the changca, where the buck eats during the day.
The spokesperson for the king’s family, Mr. Lindelihle Mpungose, confirmed the disagreement between the family and the chief.
He said this caused the chief to do whatever he likes when he likes and is completely out of control. This, he said, ended up making the king’s teeth slip.
Due to dissatisfaction with the way the chief is working with the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Governance and Cooperation, they agreed that the chief’s feet should be covered with mud last year.
Mpungose said that since then they have never found rest. He said the matter has gotten out of hand as two relatives of the king have been arrested, and are accused of pointing a gun at the chief.
The king’s brother, Mr. Mkhe Mpungose and Mr. Mzeleni Mncube, who is the king’s cousin, were finally arrested.
Mpungose said the chief tied the hooves of the buffalo because he was disgusted by his removal from the position he loved the most.
”This chief just went and opened a case of pointing a gun. This told the police that it was done by the two relatives of the king,” he said.
He said the Mpungose tribe is determined to support the king’s family until the truth is finally cleared about the root cause of the family’s arrest and prosecution for something they did not do.
It is a country found out that even though there was a lot that the king did not like about the chief, it was very annoying that he was selling land without contacting the king first.
Today the king’s relatives are appearing in the Nkandla Magistrate’s Court. Mpungose said that it will be very crowded in the court and there will be troops to support the king’s family.
It is a country found that this situation has caused a lot of tension in the area because there is a majority that supports the king, and then there is a minority that supports the dismissed chief.
“The only bad thing is that this issue could end up causing some people to get hurt,” said someone close to the king.
The chief could not be reached to comment on the allegations against him.
