Are you holidaying in South Africa and working abroad? Well, the government wants to make it easier for you to work and play, in a move aimed at cutting the red tape in issuing various visas.
The Department of Home Affairs is making sweeping changes to the visa regime and wants you to have your say on regulating the working, business, critical skills and remote working visas.
Once signed into law, the new regulations will see the government removing all the bottlenecks in the visa backlogs, including reducing the number of documents required, the waiting period, and the cumbersome process of registering with local professional bodies.
