Get ready for a rollercoaster ride in Ruiterbosch this July with the popular kykNET soapie Suidooster.

In July, this fictitious Cape Town suburb is buzzing with drama, romance, and unexpected twists. From secret illegal casinos to newfound love, rekindled romances and shocking decisions, Ruiterbosch’s residents are in for some stormy times.

Here are five key storyline developments to expect this July:

1. It looks like Ruiterbosch is turning into the new Wild West with Texas and Nazeem’s scheming. At the new Lone Star Laundry, much more is being washed than just clothes! This place is a front for an illegal casino, and several of Ruiterbosch’s residents are quite enjoying this new pastime. But Texas and Nazeem must be careful to attract the right customers while keeping out those who might spoil their fun. Will these two cunning men be able to keep their dirty laundry from being aired in public?

2. Cupid comes knocking on Aiden’s door this winter. Yes, Ruiterbosch’s pharmacist falls head over heels for the beautiful Lisa. He firmly believes she is his perfect match, but is she really the right medicine for him?

3. Now that Zoë has finally closed the “Tim chapter” of her life, she sees a chance to brighten her future. Gary starts to show interest in her, and she also catches Texas’ eye. But Zoë might have her sights set on someone else entirely. Could it be a case of an old flame that never died?

4. The ring that Siya and Kate found in the collection bag could be a godsend for the church. As they try to uncover its mystery, it also creates tension between them.

5. The Samsodien family faces another big test. This time, it’s Mymoena who is led into temptation, making some shocking decisions.

Suidooster airs Mondays to Fridays at 18:00 on kykNET (DStv 144) and 18:30 on kykNET & Kie (DStv 145). It is also available on DStv Stream and Showmax.
